Downtown Salt Lake City

Advanced Awareness Counseling has opened its first downtown location as of 2/1/2021. We are excited for this expansion and hope to serve many more members of the community. 

Troy Leishman, CMHC is our managing director at our Downtown Salt Lake City location and an active practicing Clinical Mental Health Counselor.

Troy has been with Advanced Awareness Counseling for several years and has extensive experience working in crisis via the University of Utah's Neuropsychiatric hospital. He also has extensive experience working with the LGBTQ+ population at not only Advanced Awareness Counseling LLC, but also during his time working at well know Flourish Counseling, as well a Encircle Therapy. 


Joining Troy is Jacob Lopez, ACMHC. Jacob Lopez also has extensive experience working with the LGBTQ+ population, having also worked for Flourish Counseling and for other group private practices.

We selected this downtown space due to its central location within the city and easy access from main roads. We completed a custom buildout to ensure we had sizable office spaces and also suitable privacy. We have four large office spaces and two waiting areas.

We are a work in progress in terms of furnishing this space; we have a lot of space to fill, but we are open for business!
